Lott and I also would be interested in moving images. could you supply a projector for your own needs as it is a big risk borrowing a projector and having it on Friedrichstr. at nights. We desided having our art on one busline in Friedrichstr, the very centre of Berlin, old transit GDR West Germany many interesting sights, cardominated very urban.

short descriptions of what we each want to make in the public realm of the bus stop.

Lott is working with traumatized people in Albania right now and might use images of this artistic project for”….goes to urban space”.
Christina ( the other Haubergee), landscaper, will show a drop on a leave which reflects the opposite side of the busstop.
Ulrike, childs psycatrist and sculptor will bring private furniture to public/ urban space.
Ellen shows a tableau vivante, where she steppes into a painting and sews peoples holes. Normally she does performance work, like a gided tour infront of the empty National Gallery in Berlin after the Moma show, which was a big boom in B. last year.
Myself, I will create this coco’s nest with a pattern woven in grass photographed from a balloon.

animated walls

but not like this one.

not like this

not really understanding the berlin bus stop. i can only imagine what would look like it belonged to the bus stop as a piece of art. a moment of art.

nature i am interested to bring a view point of the natural world into the space of the urban world.

urban transportation hubs carry a cadence determined by , hour , day , month, temperature, routine, crisis,

i would like to show images of ‘isabelle’ the flying swan who wore a camera on her neck.

even this animation is too rough, too awkward- but heading in the direction.blur

the placement of s swans reflection in a public space is to draw attention to the possibilities of different

persectives and perceptions of being.

:: Christina Kautz ::

(Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland)

(Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland) the photography represents around a multiple increased water drops on the surface one to one white geaederten, dark-green sheet. In the surface of the self-willed formed water drop a bright green roof glazing is reflected again. This coloredness contradicts the urban environment and produces a completely own tendency. At the same time the viewer by the self-willed outline, the Unmassstaeblichkeit and Belanglosigkeit of the giant water drop into the spell are pulled. The water drop permits personal interpretations, associations, even to identifications and vacates our conference areas and distorted images of the everyday life a place in the urban space smaller drips completely largely, May 2007

bus stops

Ever since Simone presented the concept of this porject I have been looking at bus stops. There are many kinds, often lonely signs on the side of the road, identified only by the image on a sign. This busstop sits on Vanderbuilt Ave. Brooklyn. 11217 at the corner of Sterling Place.

translation of simone’s comment

i had to translate your comment simone- it was fun to do- even though I have not posted much I have thought about bus stops.

Ulrike Bartsch writes/more skriver: That is my first attempt to write something in one blog hopefully functions it… I would like to add gladly something concerning sichtbarmachung of art at bus stops. The medium poster is so much part of the furnishing of the public area, so that I cannot imagine however constituted “wallpaper”, those actually still attention, interest or a specific perception to bells is able. Specific attention can be excited however, if in place of the expected printed on paper an unexpected medium stands. A “mismatching” material, something having table in place of the presupposed visual one, an unexpected medium… So I could introduce myself for my work to understand the poster wall of the wartehaeuschens as area for a relief. Reliably leads to an interaction with the viewer. One knows – with a Lieblingsvokabel that Federal Constitutional Court – the Vanderlismus calls, but it can add the action also one level.
